EARLS AVENUE A good quality traditional hotel with great service and friendly and welcoming staff.
All rooms are medium sized in good condition and are clean and nicely decorated. This is a very traditionally styled English Hotel with dark wood and rich brown and red furnishings.
The restaurant is on the lower ground floor. It again is traditional in decor and layout. The restaurant serves a mix of foods both English and European but the majority of the dishes are traditional British fayre. For Breakfast guests can choose from a menu.
The lobby is medium sized and well set out. It includes a number of leather sofas and comfy chairs.
MARINE PARADE, THE HARBOUR This is an exceedingly good value property, renowned as a top entertainment hotel (with Cabaret and live shows in the Ocean Bar) and that also offers full Leisure facilities including Indoor swimming pool, sauna, solarium, gym and a Games Arcade for the children. It is an ideal base for which to take day trips to France or Belgium as the hotel arranges transport across the channel. There is free on site parking.
There are 481 en-suite rooms, many with Sea Views. They are all decorated tastefully and offer TV, Telephone, Trouser Press, Hairdryer and Tea and Coffee making facilitites. Most are medium in size.
There are 2 dining options: The Victorian restaurant - with its lovely high ceilings - serves fine cuisine in an informal atmosphere. The Harbour Restaurant serves a fantastic Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and is renowned for being tasty and great value.
The lobby is very spacious and large. The floor is layered with vinyl and there is a large seating area off the lobby.

It is full of old world charm, with its oak beams and real fires to keep guests warm on a winters night and its beautiful garden and patio area, where barbecues are held in the summer. The rooms are brightly decorated and have been refurbished to a good standard. All rooms are all equipped with colour televisions and tea and coffee making facilities.
The restaurant is located on the lower ground floor. It is large, well decorated and well furnished. The hotel also has its own bar "The Office" which has to be seen to be believed. Decorated in pink, black and white it is extremely popular with the local clientele.
