STATION ROAD Built in 1901, the hotel offers traditional warmth and hospitality in friendly surroundings. It comprises a total of 38 guest rooms. It also has two unique feature rooms. Previous guests include Edward VIII and Mrs Simpson along with Enid Blyton. It was here that she wrote her first book while working as headmistress at a local school. Facilities on offer include a lobby, a bar, a restaurant, Internet access and parking for those arriving by car.

The lobby is medium in size featuring dark woods. There is a large oak sweeping stair case offering access to the bedrooms. The lounge area is very big and has comfortable Chesterfield sofas. The room is adorned with original oil paintings and luxurious deep pile rugs.
